I believe every home has a story to tell.
A home provides, protects and absorbs the stories lived within its walls. The spirit of a home and the stories it yearns to tell are too often missing in the photos scrolled past online. I translate the home's story through the language of photography.
A photograph is more than documentation. The art of photography is an act of listening. A photograph holds space for a moment to breathe eternally. Rather than arriving with a shot list; I arrive with curiosity and openness. What do the spaces feel like to rest in? What am I called to notice? Where does light travel in the afternoon?
Presence, intention and patience are the skill. Good work requires skill; great work is born from patience and intuition. My approach prioritizes intentionality rather than redundance. I move through a space unhurried; observing the shifting light and revisiting spaces with fresh perspectives. Patience is not inefficiency; it is the path.
My passion is born from 20+ years of working at the intersection of philosophy and photography. My influences are drawn from concepts of impermanence and mindfulness, from the truth found in ordinary moments and from a deep belief that nothing is worth doing if not done with presence and care.
Someone will carry the memory of these spaces for the rest of their life.
That means something to me.
